Floating a
Product Name
Ivory Soap was a divine inspiration received by Harley Procter (of Procter
& Gamble) while daydreaming about a name for his new white soap during a
Sunday sermon: "All thy garments smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia, out
of the ivory palaces whereby they have made thee glad." The nation’s
favorite soap was named for Psalms 45:8.
But
it’s not just about putting a logo on a piece of paper or cloth. It’s the
total image of a company and what it does, including its marketing messages,
business strategy, and the way that company and its products make us feel. In
order for this "branding" to become a reality, a company must know
itself and its customers. Once we get to know your products and services, we
transform that information into tangible marketing communications that set you
apart from your competition.
